Heroic Faith Medical Science, founded in Taiwan in 2018, has developed an AI-powered respiratory identification system that can recognize inhalation and exhalation and distinguish abnormal breathing sounds.Auscultation with traditional stethoscope offers point-of-care result which is hard to reach out to patients at home. Now here is the solution and we are launching it as a cloud-based platform to share with everyone in need.The algorithm is supported by a database of 500,000 breathing sound recordings and the accuracy rate is up to 96%. Once the breathing sound recording is uploaded and verified to the system, the user will soon get a feedback whether abnormal respiratory rate or altered respiratory pattern is detected which can add to the clinical relevance for healthcare workers to decide if early intervention is necessary.
